After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts, Karen Bruson spent several years as an illustrator and graphic designer. Karen now devotes all of her time to oil painting, working both in her studio and outside en plein air. Her graphic design background carries through into her oil paintings with strong contrasts of lights and darks.

Karen resides in a small, rural town in southern New Hampshire.
