Kim Rempel is an artist living in Ontario, Canada. Primarily she was a plein air landscape painter until 2009 when she joined the ranks of Daily Painters. Much of her larger pieces are done in acrylic, while generally she paints her smaller works in oil. Rempel notes: "We view a lot of images every day but then one day you see a painting and stop. Something about it stirs you. It could be a feeling the colours are giving you or something in the subject that brings back a private memory. It's personal. And it takes you to another place...".
