I have always been interested in art and loved to draw. I majored in art education at Birmingham Southern College. I taught art at the high school level for four years, and then retired to raise three sons. I started painting ten years ago after working with some great teachers. I paint a wide variety of subject matter. My work includes figurative, animals, still life, anything thats interests me.

I have work in Loretta Goodwin Gallery, Kentuck Gallery, and Heidi's Interiors. I participate in area art shows a few times a year. I enjoy meeting other artists and patrons.
